To celebrate the Valentine’s Day release of ‘The Babymoon’ a press junket was held on Monday, February 13th at The Penthouse in North Hollywood.

The movie is now available on ITunes and DVD.

Fans and friends were able to watch online via Facebook Live which was hosted by cast member Mark DeCarlo (Studs, Fork on the Road) . During her interview, Lead Actress Julie McNiven (Mad Men, Supernatural, Stargate SGU) spoke to the large live feed audience about being a new mother in Hollywood. Actor Kelly Perine (Drew Carrey Show, Parent’hood) spoke about commitment to acting craft as well as commitment to relationships.

Writer/ Director Bailey Kobe announced that he has been chosen to adapt an Oprah’s Top Book List novel titled ‘God is an Astronaut’ which Cosmopolitan magazine calls  “An incredibly powerful modern love story”. Musicians Elle B (recently toured with Katy Perry), The Ki (latest album spent four weeks on the college charts) , Mary Scholz , and KP and the Suited treated the crowd with live performances. The press junket ended with acts from Stand up Comedians  Amy Claire (Comedy Veteran / Mommy Blogger) and Lisa Gopman (winner of Comedy Centrals, Laugh Riot).

About The Babymoon:

Born out of the phenomenon of expecting parents taking elaborate vacations in the weeks prior to the birth of their first child, and becoming “Bad Moms” and dads.  This funny movie is the story of one couple’s prenatal holiday that takes a hilarious turn when they accidentally travel to a country that is undergoing a political revolution.
